For most Airbnb hosts, Turno is the best cleaning schedule app in 2026. It creates a cleaning job from every checkout on every booking calendar, gives cleaners a photo checklist, lets you pay them in the app and, if you need someone, helps you find a cleaner. It is free for one property. Hosts on a tight budget, especially in Europe, should look at Lula.Cleaning, which is free for up to two properties. Teams that schedule and pay several cleaners get the most for their money from ResortCleaning, at $5 per property per month. Larger property managers should consider Breezeway or Operto Teams.

The turnover is the most stressful part of hosting. A guest checks out at 11, the next one checks in at 3, and in between someone has to clean, restock, check for damage and send you proof. When the schedule lives in WhatsApp messages and screenshots of your calendar, sooner or later a cleaning gets missed, usually on the busiest weekend of the year.
Cleaning schedule apps fix this by reading your booking calendars and turning every checkout into a job for a cleaner. We compared the main options for hosts and property managers, looked at what each does well, where it falls short and what it costs. Here is what we recommend.
Our picks at a glance
- Best for most hosts: Turno. Auto-scheduling, photo checklists, payments and a cleaner marketplace. Free for one property.
- Best budget pick: Lula.Cleaning. Free for up to two properties, 30+ languages.
- Best value for cleaning teams: ResortCleaning. $5 per property per month with payroll and inspections.
- Best for property managers: Breezeway or Operto Teams.
- If you need cleaners, not just an app: Cleanster.

Who this is for
- Hosts with one to a few properties who coordinate one or two cleaners and are tired of forwarding every new booking by text.
- Hosts who need to find a cleaner in a new market, or a backup for busy weekends.
- Property managers and cleaning companies who schedule, inspect and pay a team across dozens of properties.
If you have one property and a cleaner you trust who checks a shared calendar, you may not need an app yet. Once you have a second property, a second cleaner or same-day turnovers, you do.
How we picked
We judged every app on what actually prevents missed or bad cleanings:
- Automatic scheduling from bookings. Every checkout should become a cleaning job without you doing anything, and changes or cancellations should update the job. Apps that connect to your PMS or channel manager do this better than apps that only read iCal links, which can be hours behind.
- A good app for cleaners. Clear daily schedules, checklists per property and easy photo uploads, in the cleaner’s language.
- Proof and problem reporting. Before-and-after photos, damage and supply reports, and a notification when the property is ready.
- Paying cleaners. In-app payments or at least payroll reports.
- A fair price for your size, from a free plan for one property to per-property pricing that still makes sense at 50.
We went through each app’s public documentation, features and current pricing, and compared notes with what hosts and managers using Hosthub tell us about their setups. Prices were checked in October 2026.
About us: Hosthub is a channel manager and PMS. We do not make a cleaning app. Several of the apps below are Hosthub integration partners, which means they connect with Hosthub and some offer a discount to Hosthub customers. We note this for each one. Breezeway is not a Hosthub partner and is included because it is one of the best options for larger managers.
Our pick: Turno
Best for: hosts with 1 to 20 properties, with their own cleaners or looking for new ones.
Price: free for one property, and free for any number of properties if you only use Turno marketplace cleaners. Otherwise $10 per property per month, or $96 per property per year. Payments to cleaners through Turno carry platform fees.
Hosthub: integration partner.

Turno (formerly TurnoverBnB) is the app most hosts reach for first, and for good reason. Connect your booking calendars and every checkout becomes a cleaning job, assigned to your cleaner, who gets it on their phone with a photo-guided checklist for that property. You see when the cleaning starts and finishes, the photos, and any problems reported. When the job is done, you can pay the cleaner through the app.
Its other big advantage is the marketplace. If you are launching a new property, or your cleaner is unavailable on a busy weekend, you can search for cleaners in your area, compare reviews and request quotes, and searching is always free.
Flaws but not dealbreakers: the per-property fee adds up past 10 or 15 properties, where team-focused tools become better value. Payment processing through the app has fees, so check them against paying your cleaners directly. Its inspection and maintenance tools are lighter than what professional managers need.
Budget pick: Lula.Cleaning
Best for: small hosts, especially in Europe, and cleaners who do not speak English.
Price: free for up to 2 properties and 1 cleaner; paid plans from $3.50 per month.
Hosthub: integration partner, with an extended 30-day trial for Hosthub users.

Lula.Cleaning does the core job simply and cheaply. It syncs with your booking calendars, creates a cleaning task at each checkout, assigns it to a cleaner and records completion with photos. Its standout feature is language support: the cleaner app is available in more than 30 languages, which matters in markets where your cleaning team does not share your language.
Flaws but not dealbreakers: it is focused on Europe, with fewer integrations aimed at the US market. The app runs in the browser rather than as a native app, and it has fewer features for inspections, payroll or large teams.
Best value for teams: ResortCleaning
Best for: property managers and cleaning companies scheduling and paying a team.
Price: $5 per property per month, with a $20 monthly minimum. Inventory module +$2.50 and messaging module +$2 per property per month.
Hosthub: integration partner, with a 60-day free trial for Hosthub users.

ResortCleaning is housekeeping software built for the operator’s side of the job. For $5 per property, you get online scheduling driven by your PMS, mobile apps for housekeepers, custom inspections, housekeeper grading and productivity tracking, payroll and invoice reports, and QuickBooks and payment integrations. Optional modules add inventory tracking (linens, amenities, supplies) and a team messaging hub with a dedicated phone number.
For a 20-property operation, that is $100 a month for the core product, a fraction of what the larger platforms cost.
Flaws but not dealbreakers: the interface is built for operations teams rather than casual hosts, so expect some setup. It does not include a marketplace to find cleaners.
For property managers: Breezeway
Best for: professional property managers with 10+ properties and many turnovers a month.
Price: custom quote. Reviewers report roughly $15 to $40+ per property per month depending on the tier.

Breezeway is a full property-operations platform. Cleanings and inspections are scheduled automatically from your PMS, cleaners and inspectors follow smart checklists with photo verification, and a live dashboard shows which properties are being cleaned, inspected or ready. Higher tiers add maintenance and vendor management, damage reporting, analytics and an API.
Flaws but not dealbreakers: pricing is not public, it is more than a small host needs, and it does not pay cleaners, so you need a separate payroll tool. Breezeway is not a Hosthub integration partner, so check that it connects to your PMS before you buy.
Also great for managers: Operto Teams
Best for: managers who want automation-first scheduling with transparent entry pricing.
Price: Standard plan $70 per month for up to 10 properties, plus $7 per additional property. No free trial.
Hosthub: integration partner.
Operto Teams (formerly VRScheduler) creates tasks automatically from PMS events and lets you adjust them with drag-and-drop scheduling. It has mobile dashboards with real-time status, custom checklists by property or region, maintenance tracking, linen reports, payroll reporting and QuickBooks sync, and it integrates with 40+ PMSs.
Flaws but not dealbreakers: it works best with a full API connection to your PMS, and setups that rely on iCal need more manual updates. Pricing for its AI tier is not published.
If you need cleaners, not just an app: Cleanster
Best for: hosts who want to book vetted cleaners on demand, or mix their own team with marketplace cleaners.
Hosthub: integration partner, with 25% off using the code HOSTHUB.
Cleanster combines a cleaner marketplace with scheduling software. Jobs are created automatically from your reservation calendar and sent to cleaners’ phones. Checklists include photos, notes and problem reports, and an inventory tracker (in beta) alerts you when supplies run low. For US hosts, it also handles cleaner onboarding, vetting, background checks and 1099 forms.
Flaws but not dealbreakers: marketplace coverage depends on your area, so check availability where your property is before you rely on it.

How to set up a turnover schedule that works
Whichever app you choose, these habits prevent most cleaning problems:
- Feed the app from one source of truth. If your cleaning app reads three separate iCal links from Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, it inherits their delays. Connect it to your channel manager or PMS instead, so a booking from any channel creates the job within minutes.
- Block preparation time where you need it. If same-day turnovers are impossible at a property, for example a large villa or one far from your cleaners, block a day before or after each booking so no channel sells it. Hosthub’s preparation time setting does this automatically.
- Write a checklist per property, with photos of how each room should look. “Clean the bathroom” is not a checklist.
- Ask for photos every time, especially of anything that could become a damage claim. Most platforms give you only a short window after checkout to report damage.
- Track linens and supplies. A turnover is not done if there are no clean towels for the next guest.
- Agree how cleaners are paid, per turnover or per hour, and keep records. In the US, independent cleaners you pay $600 or more in a year usually need a 1099. Ask your accountant.
The competition
- Pacho is an operations platform that creates and dispatches cleaning, inspection and maintenance tasks automatically, and adjusts schedules for late check-outs and delays. Pricing is not public. Hosthub users get a 2-month free trial. Worth a look for managers who want more automation than ResortCleaning.
- PropertyCare.com combines task management and a cleaner web app with guest messaging. It suits managers who want operations and guest communication in one tool.
- ACleanBnB connects owners with cleaners and schedules from Airbnb and Booking.com calendars, with photos and completion reports. Free to start, with its strongest network in Greece.
- MyCleaners is a professional cleaning service rather than an app. Hosthub users get 50% off their first clean when booking three or more.
- Shared calendars and group chats are free and fine for one property and one cleaner. Beyond that, they are how cleanings get missed.
Where Hosthub fits
Hosthub is not a cleaning app. It is the channel manager and PMS that keeps every booking from every channel in one calendar, and that is what a cleaning app needs to schedule correctly.
- One accurate source of bookings. Hosthub syncs Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and 200+ channels in under 5 minutes, and the cleaning apps in our Cleaning & Task management partner directory pull bookings from Hosthub, so every checkout from every channel becomes a job.
- Access for your cleaners. With team management, you can give cleaners a view of arrivals, departures and guest numbers per property, without prices or guest contact details.
- Preparation time blocks days around bookings automatically where same-day turnovers are not possible.
- Notes per booking, such as “baby cot needed” or “early check-in at 1pm”, visible to your team.
- Self check-in. A new smart-lock code for every booking, so cleaners and guests never share a code.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best app to schedule Airbnb cleaners?
For most hosts, Turno: it creates a cleaning job from every checkout, gives cleaners photo checklists, handles payments and has a marketplace to find cleaners. It is free for one property. For a free option for up to two properties, try Lula.Cleaning. For teams, ResortCleaning offers the best value.
Is there a free Airbnb cleaning schedule app?
Yes. Turno is free for one property, or for any number of properties if you only use its marketplace cleaners. Lula.Cleaning is free for up to two properties and one cleaner. ACleanBnB is free to start.
How do cleaning apps know when a guest checks out?
They read your booking calendars, either through iCal links from each platform or through an integration with your channel manager or PMS. A direct integration is faster and more reliable, because iCal links can be hours out of date.
Can my cleaner see my bookings without seeing my income?
Yes. In Hosthub, team roles let you show cleaners arrivals, departures and guest numbers only. Most cleaning apps also show cleaners only their jobs.
What should a vacation rental cleaning checklist include?
Room-by-room tasks with reference photos, restocking of linens, toiletries and kitchen basics, a damage and maintenance check, photos of the finished property and a final “ready” confirmation. Customize it for each property.
How much do cleaning management apps cost?
From free for one or two properties, to around $3.50–$10 per property per month for host-focused apps, $5 per property for ResortCleaning, and $15–$40+ per property for enterprise platforms such as Breezeway.
