The best Lodgify alternative for most hosts and managers is Hosthub: 200+ channels connected through official APIs, a Zero Double Booking Guarantee, one published price per property from $13.60 a month, and a direct booking website you pay for once ($799) and own, instead of one that disappears when you stop subscribing. Smoobu is the closest budget alternative with a simple website included, OwnerRez suits hands-on power users, Hospitable Airbnb-first hosts who care most about messaging, and Hostaway large professional teams.
Hosthub publishes this guide and is one of the alternatives compared. We have aimed to be fair: we say what Lodgify does well, where other alternatives are a better fit, and where Hosthub falls short. Prices and ratings checked in October 2026.

Lodgify is one of the most popular choices for hosts starting out, mainly because of its website builder. Many outgrow it, though: as they add properties, channels or owners, the price climbs and the features they need sit on the top plans. This guide covers why hosts switch, what Lodgify does well, the best alternatives and what they cost, and how to move, including your website, without losing bookings or Google rankings.

Why hosts look for a Lodgify alternative
What Lodgify does well
Lodgify earned its popularity. Its website builder is the strongest do-it-yourself option for vacation rentals, with many templates and a booking engine, so you can have a direct booking site live in a weekend. It publishes its prices, charges no booking commission, includes dynamic pricing on its Professional and Ultimate plans, and its sync-only Basic plan is one of the cheapest ways to connect a single property to Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. Reviewers often praise its clean interface and onboarding.

Best overall alternative: Hosthub
Best for: hosts and managers with 1 to 100+ properties who have outgrown Lodgify’s channels, plans or price, and want a website they own.
Price: per property per month, on yearly billing: $31.20 for one property, $13.60 each for 2 to 10, $10.40 for 11 to 30, $7.20 for 31 to 100 and $5.60 above 100. Same price on Pro, which adds 0.7% of net booking value. No setup fee. 14-day free trial. See pricing.
Website: a complete direct booking website built for you, $799 one-time, or a booking engine for your existing WordPress site, $599 one-time. No commission on bookings.
Rating: 4.6/5 on Capterra, with 4.7/5 for ease of use and for customer service (Lodgify: 4.4 and 4.6).
Why Lodgify users switch to Hosthub:
- Every channel on a real connection. Lodgify connects Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com through their APIs and most other sites through calendar links. Hosthub connects Expedia, Agoda and 200+ channels, syncing both ways in under 5 minutes.
- A guarantee Lodgify does not offer. If a double booking ever happens on an API-connected channel, the Zero Double Booking Guarantee means Hosthub contacts the second guest, finds them a place of the same or better value and covers the cost, up to $150 on Standard and $500 on Pro.
- No climbing through four plans. Hosthub has one price per property on both of its plans, and the price per property falls as you grow, instead of rising.
- A website you own. Hosthub’s website is a WordPress site built for you and delivered working. You pay once and can move it wherever you want.
- Built for managers too. Team roles, expenses, owner reports and an owner portal for managers who run properties for others.
- Real people, 24/7. Chat with a person day or night, usually within minutes.
Everything else you need: a unified inbox, automated messages, an AI Co-host that answers guests 24/7 (Pro), check-in forms, per-channel pricing, rental relations and room types for B&Bs, and partner integrations for dynamic pricing (PriceLabs, Beyond, Pricinger), cleaning, smart locks and accounting, most with offers for Hosthub users.
Where Lodgify is still stronger: if you want to design and edit your website yourself from templates, Lodgify’s builder is more flexible; Hosthub’s site is built for you, and changes after delivery are a paid service. Lodgify includes dynamic pricing on its higher plans, where Hosthub connects to specialist tools instead. For a single property that only needs basic sync, Lodgify Basic ($14) is cheaper. And Hosthub has fewer reviews than Lodgify. See the full Hosthub vs Lodgify comparison.
Other Lodgify alternatives
The website question: rent it or own it?
For many Lodgify users, the website is the reason they signed up, and the reason they hesitate to leave. There are two models:
If your direct booking site brings you real business, ownership matters: you keep the domain, the pages Google has indexed and the reviews you have collected, whatever software you use next.

How to switch from Lodgify without losing bookings or rankings
- Check your renewal date. Lodgify plans are often prepaid for a year or two. Note when yours renews and cancel auto-renewal in time, so you are not charged for a period you will not use.
- Start your free trial and connect your channels to the new system while Lodgify is still running.
- Check that every future booking came in, including direct bookings made through your Lodgify website, which you may need to add manually.
- Rebuild your automation: messages, prices, minimum stays and house rules. Copy your best message texts across.
- Plan the website move. Keep your domain. Build the new site, then point the domain to it and set up 301 redirects from your old page addresses to the new ones, so Google and returning guests land on the right pages.
- Set up payments on your new booking engine and test a booking end to end.
- Disconnect Lodgify from each channel, so two systems are not updating availability at the same time.
- Export your records from Lodgify, such as past reservations and invoices, then cancel.
On Hosthub’s Pro plan, the team migrates you and sets everything up for you. Book a demo to plan your switch.
